The Problem With Borrowed Space

Most agents have two places online with their name on them. Neither one belongs to them. That's fine as an extra. It's a problem when it's the only thing people can find.

What you're renting

  • Your brokerage page puts their name and colors first. Yours come second.
  • You can't change the layout, the words, or what gets shown.
  • Switch brokerages and that page goes away. The search history you built up goes with it.
  • On the big listing sites, the page that shows your listing can also show other agents' names and contact buttons. The buyer may call them, not you.
  • Your reviews, your photos, and your leads live on their system, under their rules.

What you'd own

  • Your name is the brand. Your domain, your photos, your words.
  • It moves with you. Change brokerages and the website stays right where it is.
  • Every neighborhood page, review, and sold listing you add builds up on something you keep.
  • The contact form sends leads to you. Nobody else.
  • You can still link to your brokerage and the listing sites. They just aren't the only door.

What Happens When Somebody Looks You Up

Say you sell homes in Camden. Somebody types "realtor in Camden SC" into Google, or asks ChatGPT to recommend an agent. If the only pages with your name on them belong to your brokerage or a listing site, that's who gets found. Not you. You're a line on their page.

A website under your own name changes that. It gives search engines and AI tools one clear place that says who you are, where you work, and how to reach you. That's the whole job of the site. Rob came from real estate before he started Heaston Innovations, so this isn't a guess about how agents work.

We're not going to tell you a website by itself gets you to the top of the search results. It doesn't. It gives you a place to build on that nobody can take back.

What We Build for Agents

Same website service we build for any small business, set up for an agent. $500 for the first year, paid up front. Here's what that covers.

Your Own Domain

Your name or your team name. We register it or help you move one you already own.

About You Page

Who you are, where you work, and why somebody should call you. Written in plain English.

Service Area Pages

The towns and neighborhoods you actually work. Clear enough that search engines and AI tools get it.

Contact Form

Leads go to your email and phone. Not to a shared inbox, not to another agent.

Your Real Reviews

Reviews you already have, from real clients, shown on your site. We never write fake ones.

Hosting and Updates

We host it and handle about 3 to 4 routine updates a month. New sold photo, new review, new area. Just send it.

Rules Built In

Your state and your brokerage have rules about what your site has to show, like your brokerage name, your license number, and the Equal Housing Opportunity notice. We build those in.

You Own It

Leave your brokerage, leave us, whatever happens. The site is yours and we help you take it with you.

The catch: a live MLS listing feed (IDX) is not included in the $500. Those feeds have their own fees and approvals. If you want one, we'll tell you what it costs before you decide anything. Big redesigns are quoted separately too.
